Be sure to note that the School of Architecture has opened in Ajuda, Lisboa. Each course includes permanent classes: layout and design, experimental painting and graphics, carpentry and carpentry, art history. Optional activities include film screenings, participation in architectural competitions, philosophical discussions, and free creative experiments. Classes are taught by practicing architects and specialists. The main idea: professional practicing architects, urban object designers, carpenters, and artists engage in architecture with students, teens, and adults without any training. It is a bit of a subversive activity: here there is no usual school and institute hierarchy and condemnation for ignorance, but rather young progressive professionals talk and teach architecture and design to all comers – at the intersection of disciplines, in practice, in free creativity.
