Pastelaria Luso-americana espresso bar is the first of its kind in Arroios. Coffee is a priority here. Besides classic espresso, ristretto, and macchiato, they also make sesame latte-halva, double espresso with milk, and the popular raff coffee with cream and vanilla sugar. There’s no gastronomy in the café, but you can have a full lunch here: there’s a soup of the day, salads and a large selection of sandwiches; ciabatta is baked by themselves. From 8 a.m. breakfasts are served in the restaurant. The place pays special attention to desserts. Only natural materials were used for the interior decoration. Another peculiarity of the bar is its loud service: visitors are greeted here not with a polite nod but with a cheerful greeting.
