A cozy and unusual restaurant located in a traditional area of Lisbon. You really can’t go wrong with such places in Lisbon. The decor is funky and the building is a relic of another time, none of the furniture matches and the entrance staircase would make an American code inspector weak. It’s a cash-only place with no frills, but the service is fast and friendly, and all dishes are made with fresh ingredients and are solid staples that will be hard to decide on, so bring a large group so you can share. And, in the great spirit of Portugal, of course, it’s a very good price. It’s a great place to celebrate with family and friends, and they also have a second room across the street when the restaurant is full.
