This is probably one of the most authentic Portuguese dining experiences in Lisbon. A gem in the center of Lisbon, very traditional, not only the house itself but also very homely food. The space is quite distinctive, with scarves and items depicting soccer clubs. This food is not found in many places anymore. Impeccable atmosphere, friendly people, and incredibly affordable menus. Be sure to try the fried fish and the famous soft cod “pataniscos”. The rice and beans and fritters are like no other. This is a typical Portuguese restaurant, similar to a canteen because everyone eats together. I recommend it to everyone who wants to try typical simple Portuguese food.
