A climbing gym Vertigo Rocódromo Lisboa is a sports club where amateurs and athletes do rock climbing when it is not in season (cold) on live rock. Rock climbing is a wonderful, heat-loving, quite safe sport not unlike mountaineering, with which it is often confused. The main thing at the climbing wall is, of course, an artificial rock, also referred to as a rock trainer or climbing wall. To climb at a rock-climbing wall, you must have a climbing outfit and change shoes. If you don’t have your own equipment, you can rent it here. Regardless of level of training everyone who wants to train at the rock-climbing site must know safety rules and be able to insure a partner (even if you come alone). Instructors teach this at the climbing site. Insurance lesson takes ~ 15 minutes. Do not miss the chance to try something new!
