Fora de Casa is a Portuguese catering provider active since 1990 and headquartered in Lisbon. The company moves equipment and staff nationwide, covering events “from north to south” without geographic limits. All food production and logistics are handled in-house.
Its kitchen develops traditional Portuguese menus alongside thematic, international, gourmet, fusion and author concepts. Service can be delivered at a client-chosen location or at Fora de Casa’s own facilities, which include Espaço Restelo in Lisbon; it also manages events on the River Tagus aboard the vessel Ópera and can organise beach functions when required. Menus are prepared centrally and dispatched under refrigerated control.
Operations are divided into three segments. Private events include weddings, baptisms, lunches, dinners, brunches and cocktails. Corporate work covers coffee breaks, breakfasts, receptions, congresses, colloquia and gala dinners. Social occasions—parties, galas and inaugurations—complete the portfolio. Optional add-ons such as floristry, photography, DJ, décor, graphics, audiovisuals and entertainment are coordinated through the same project team.
